Death by Doxie: The Giveaway Edition

What's that Elfi (you handsome hound you!)?  You've got something to tell us?

It's a giveaway you say?  Not of you I hope?  I'd never give you away!

But yes, you are right Elfi - it is a giveaway!  I said awhile back that I would host one once I had over 100 followers on my blog, and I do!  Hooray!  The thing with this giveaway, which is a little unusual, is that I can't tell you what you'll win because the prize is a mystery.  And the reason the prize is a mystery is because it depends on who wins it!  You see, I want to tailor the prize to you, lucky winner.

What I can tell you is that it will include at least one foreign language craft book; some ace stationery handmade by me especially for you; plus a piece of Korean awesome-ness yet to be determined (and probably more, I do like sending things in the mail).

'How do I enter?' I hear you ask!  Easy, just leave a comment below making sure that you include some sort of linky thing so that I have some way of getting in touch with you (Twitter, blog, email, etc).

In your comment you must tell me:
1. What your favourite craft is, what craft you would love to learn, OR what craft you love to look at to fuel your creative ideas?
2. Your favourite colour/combination of colours?
3. Your favourite kind of thing to read about/look at on Good Things* (travel? craft? doxies? recipes? good things?)?

Your prize will be crafted around these three answers!

Extra entries if you spread the word (tweet, facebook, blog) - just make sure you let me know you've done it so I give you the credit you deserve.  Entries close on August 31 at midnight (Seoul time). The winner will be chosen at random, some time shortly after that (I'll once again be using random.org's third party draw service).

Hooray!
Well, you may be handsome but you are certainly one reluctant model.  You could at least try and look a little excited...

  1. You did have me a bit worried Emily when I saw Elfi pop up with Doxie Giveaway - I though "Oh-Oh, someone's been very, very naughty!"

Loving the concept of this giveaway, here are my responses:

    1. What your favourite craft is: Paper related. Usually collage incorporating some of my drawing, painting or pastel work
    2. Your favourite colour/combination of colours: soft blue, white, muted grey or a burst of coral, sunny yellow, blue and white
    3. Your favourite kind of thing to read about/look at on Good Things*: I've got to say I do love learning about your pocket of the world [a new tour might be in order] and the Doxies too.

    Happy day Lovely You!

  8. 1. my favourite craft is anything paper related really - although my blog is mainly sewing I come from a paint and printmaking background, so etching would be my favourite - although it's been about 5 years since I've etched a plate!

In terms of what I practically do as a favourite - that would be quilting - but I used to make a lot of soft toys .. they were fun too - I think the East Asian craft books are a-mazing for this ... I've never seen them here in the UK.

Thanks for the chance - sorry my comment is like 2 days long ;)

    2. my favourite color combo is turquoise yellow and lime ... yum!

    3. my favorite things on your blog are your travel stuff, craft stuff, and doxie stuff .. oh that would be everything!

    I'd love

  22. Wow - a customized giveaway! I'm definitely in!! :)

    1. My favourite craft has to be crochet, mainly because it's the first craft I taught myself about 2,5 years ago. I also feel like I 'understand' it more than other crafts - the stitches make a lot of sense to me, which is great when I want to design something myself.

There are so many awesome things out there I'd like to learn, but if I had to choose... I would LOVE to be better at sewing. I adore fabric and there are so many amazing patterns out there - but I just find it extremely difficult to produce something that is not wobbly and crooked ;) My absolute dream: making my own 50's-style dresses...

    2. I love combining happy, bright colours like pink, yellow, orange, purple and red. (Like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/71705269@N00/5990672094/) My motto: if you almost need sunglasses to look at it, it must be good ;)

    3. I love the diversity of your blog, and I love to hear about your life on the other side of the world. So that covers about everything I guess :)

    Here are my answers:

In your comment you must tell me:
    1. What your favourite craft is, what craft you would love to learn, OR what craft you love to look at to fuel your creative ideas?

The only craft I'm good at is sewing (well...let's not exaggerate haha, good is not the right word at all!) I would love to be able to draw really good etc. But I love paper en sticky paper things. Oh what the heck, I love all crafts.

    2. Your favourite colour/combination of colours?

    Neon pink/teal blue or pink/orange

    3. Your favourite kind of thing to read about/look at on Good Things* (travel? craft? doxies? recipes? good things?)?

I'm new to your blog, but what I've seen so far, I like everything. Most likely the less favourite part would be the recipes, because I don't like cooking :)

    Congrats on the 100+ followers!
I'm a little late, so I won't post your give-away on my blog and crossing my fingers for 1 chance ;)
