Collecting Colour : March is Green

I've never considered myself a green kind of girl.  Sure it's pleasant enough, cool and calm, but it doesn't excite me in the way that a deep purple, sunny yellow or luminous turquoise can.

And yet...lately I've noticed that green is featuring strongly in my wardrobe, and I'm starting to covet happy frocks like this, and this (the minty green version, although the coral is seriously tempting too). And putting together this collection I was surprised to discover how much green I do actually have around me - there was so much I had to leave a bunch of stuff out!  Maybe it's the Winter blues pushing me towards a reminder of Spring?

  7. Lovely collection Emily! Yes, I'd like to add that Le Creuset piece to my kitchen too - we might be able to organise some kind of bulk buy here!! The items though that I love the most are the two little animal figures next to your origami turtle. I have not seen these since I was a child but we had a number of them - I can't think of where they have gone to now - would have loved to pass them to my own kids. Thanks for inspiring the memory.

  12. wow. just, wow! green is one of my favourite colours, second fav in fact! you sure have done justice to it emily. I took a green shot yesterday but on reflection it doesn't live up to the awesomeness you have shown here. I might have to have a reshoot!

This is a fabulous collection Emily and I love that you've given us close ups of your big collage - are they earphone holders I spy?

Thanks so much for adding a juicy colour pop to this month's 'POTM' club I was thrilled to see that you'd joined in.
